ARO PD10P-FPS-PTT Compatible 1″ Polypropylene Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump, PTFE

This is an air-operated double-diaphragm pump designed for the transfer of aggressive chemicals via a 1" end-flanged connection and a polypropylene fluid path. With a housing weight of 9.01 kg, it is a portable model. The wetted surfaces, center section, and seats are made of polypropylene; the diaphragm and balls are made of PTFE. This configuration provides significantly broader chemical compatibility compared to the Santoprene variant of the same housing: it maintains PTFE structural integrity when handling concentrated acids, ketones, aromatic solvents, and oxidizing chemicals. The use of stainless steel for the connection hardware supports the integrity of the plastic body against clamping forces. The end-flanged connection design facilitates installation in a straight line by ensuring the inlet and outlet are positioned opposite each other. Due to the rigid structure of the PTFE diaphragm, gradually increasing the operating pressure during initial startup has a positive effect on diaphragm life.
