QBY-40 Type 1.5″ Aluminum Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump, Buna-N

This air-operated double-diaphragm pump, featuring a 1.5" BSP connection and an all-aluminum construction, is designed for industrial transfer lines. With a flow capacity of 133 liters per minute and a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar, it is used for transferring antifreeze, detergent solutions, motor oil, hydraulic fluid, and wastewater. Buna-N (nitrile) is used for the housing, ball, and diaphragm; since this elastomer exhibits significant resistance to petroleum derivatives and aliphatic hydrocarbons, it is preferred for oil and fuel lines. In contrast, a PTFE configuration should be selected for use with ketones, strong oxidizers, and concentrated acids. The fluid section and center section are made of aluminum. It operates at a maximum of 145 cycles per minute and consumes approximately 175 SCFM of air at full capacity; this value should be taken into account when selecting compressor capacity. It can handle solid particles up to 6.35 mm in size, and the maximum operating temperature is 66 °C.
