ARO PD05P-BSS-STT Compatible 1/2″ Stainless Steel Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump, BSP

This is a 1/2" air-operated double-diaphragm transfer pump with a stainless steel fluid path. The stainless steel construction not only provides resistance to corrosive fluids but also offers a cleanable fluid path, making it the preferred choice for pharmaceutical, food, and laboratory processes. The pump operates solely on compressed air; since it has no electric motor or mechanical seal, it poses no risk of sparks, and maintenance is limited to the periodic replacement of the diaphragm and valve assembly. Thanks to its self-priming design, the pump is not damaged when run dry in applications that carry a risk of running dry, such as tank bottom suction and barrel emptying. Flow rate is adjusted continuously via the air supply pressure; when the discharge line is shut off, the pump slows down and stops until the pressure is balanced. The product is manufactured in dimensions that allow for a direct replacement of existing pumps with the same configuration code.
