ARO PD30A-BSS-SAA-B Compatible 3″ Stainless Steel Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump

This is an air-operated double-diaphragm pump designed for the transfer of high-volume and corrosive fluids via a 3" connection and a stainless steel fluid path. The stainless steel housing provides a significantly longer service life in acidic and saline environments compared to 3" aluminum counterparts; furthermore, because it features a cleanable surface, it can be used in high-volume transfer lines in food and pharmaceutical processes. The pump operates solely on compressed air; since it has no electric motor or mechanical seal, it poses no risk of sparks, and maintenance is limited to the periodic replacement of the diaphragm and valve assembly. Thanks to its self-priming design, it is not damaged when run dry in applications involving a risk of running dry, such as tank bottom suction and pond drainage. Flow rate is continuously adjustable via the air supply pressure. The product is manufactured in dimensions that are directly interchangeable with existing pumps sharing the same configuration code.
