Sandpiper S15B1ABWANS600 Compatible 1.5″ Aluminum Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump

This is a double-diaphragm transfer pump operated by compressed air. Two opposing diaphragms move alternately via an air valve to transfer the fluid from the suction line to the discharge line. This operating principle eliminates the need for an electric motor; since there is no risk of sparks, the pump can be safely used in explosive environments containing solvents, fuels, and solvent vapors. Its self-priming design protects the pump in applications with a risk of running dry, such as drum emptying and tank bottom suction—it is not damaged when run dry and refills automatically when fluid is present. Since the flow rate can be continuously adjusted via the air supply pressure, no frequency converter or throttling valve is required; when the line is shut off, the pump slows down and stops until pressure is balanced, preventing overload. The product is manufactured in dimensions that allow for a direct replacement of existing pumps with the same configuration code.
