This is a double-diaphragm transfer pump powered by compressed air. The two diaphragms move alternately via air valves to transfer the fluid from the suction line to the discharge line; since one diaphragm is sucking while the other is discharging, the flow continues continuously. The positive-displacement design ensures that flow rate remains more stable compared to centrifugal pumps, even with viscous fluids and under varying backpressure conditions. Since there is no mechanical seal or electric motor, the number of wear-prone parts is limited; maintenance is reduced to the periodic replacement of the diaphragm and valve assembly. Thanks to its self-priming design, it is not damaged when run dry during tank bottom suction and drum emptying. When the discharge line is shut off, the pump slows down and stops until the pressure equilibrates; it restarts when the line is opened. The product is manufactured in dimensions that allow for a direct replacement of existing pumps with the same configuration code.
