This air-operated double-diaphragm pump, featuring a 1" NPT threaded connection and an all-aluminum construction, is designed for general-purpose industrial transfer lines. All surfaces, whether in contact with the fluid or not, are made of aluminum. A distinctive feature of this model is the use of UHMW (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) material in the check valve seats: UHMW has a much lower coefficient of friction and higher impact resistance compared to metal seats; by absorbing the impact of the ball settling into the seat, it slows down wear on both the seat and the ball and provides a significant service life advantage in fluids containing abrasive solids. The diaphragm and check valve balls are made of Santoprene. The silencer is made of polypropylene and has a longer service life than metal silencers in corrosive exhaust environments. The flow rate is continuously adjustable via the air supply pressure.
